Chapter 11: Reliving our first meeting

After getting the props, the two began to reenact the scene of their first meeting written by Lu Yiwei.

Scene 1: At a shopping mall opening ceremony, Mu Zhengqing was singing on stage as a guest. Lu Yiwei, who was shopping, was attracted by his singing and stood below the stage listening. The two looked at each other across the crowd.

Scene 2: In the restroom, Mu Zhengqing, who was washing his hands, looked up and saw Lu Yiwei in the mirror. Just as Mu Zhengqing was about to turn and leave, he suddenly felt unwell and vomited on Lu Yiwei.

Scene 3: In a coffee shop, Mu Zhengqing and Lu Yiwei sat on opposite sides of the sofa. Mu Zhengqing handed his newly bought clothes to Lu Yiwei. After Lu Yiwei took the clothes, they began to introduce themselves.

Thus, their first meeting ended.

During this process, Mu Zhengqing really remembered some things from the past.

He had participated in many shopping mall opening ceremonies, but the one that impressed him the most was the first time. At that time, he was singing on stage, and there were hardly any audience members listening below the stage.

In his memory, only one person listened to his song from beginning to end.

However, that person stood a bit far away, and since his eyesight was a bit nearsighted, he couldn’t clearly see the person’s appearance, only remembering that the person was very tall.

That was his first time performing on stage in his life. At that time, he only had ten yuan left, and the 300 yuan he earned from that performance helped him get through the most difficult month of his life.

Afterwards, he was discovered by a talent scout and entered the entertainment industry, beginning his idol career.

He had always been grateful for that performance. It was not a stain on his life but a turning point.

‘It turns out I can make money with my voice, and it turns out that someone would stop to listen to my singing, even if it was just that one person.’

Now, he was very grateful to his hardworking self. His efforts had allowed more people to hear his songs and see his dance. That person should have heard it too, right?

After completing the task, it was dinner time. Mu Zhengqing opened the refrigerator and found it full of food.

His hand hesitated over the meat for a second, but he ultimately chose eggs and noodles.

Hmm, egg noodles were very delicious, and he liked them a lot.

Just as he was bringing the water to a boil, Lu Yiwei walked over and asked, “Can I join you for dinner?”

“You’re going to eat this?” Mu Zhengqing asked uncertainly.

He wasn’t asking because he didn’t want Lu Yiwei to join him, but because he had noticed from previous meals that Lu Yiwei put a lot of effort into his food.

Whenever he had time, he would cook, and he didn’t mind making dishes that took a lot of time.

Of course, those dishes were all very delicious.

With just plain boiled noodles, he was afraid Lu Yiwei wouldn’t be used to it.

“Is it okay?” Lu Yiwei asked, looking at him.

Why wouldn’t it be okay? He had joined him for meals so many times before. If Lu Yiwei wanted to eat, he could cook noodles for him every day without any problem.

Since Lu Yiwei wanted to eat together, Mu Zhengqing went to the refrigerator and took out more noodles and eggs.

Then he stood about a metre away from the gas stove, throwing the noodles into the pot with one hand holding the lid and the other hand holding the noodles.

The reason his cooking skills weren’t good was that he was afraid of the water or oil splashing everywhere when it boiled.

Although it wouldn’t hurt too much if it splashed on him, the process made Mu Zhengqing very scared.

Just as he threw the noodles into the pot, Lu Yiwei appeared out of nowhere and shielded him from behind.

“What are you doing here?” Mu Zhengqing asked in confusion.

“I’ve never cooked noodles before, I want to try,” Lu Yiwei said seriously.

“Your cooking skills are so good, and you say you’ve never cooked noodles?” Mu Zhengqing clearly didn’t believe Lu Yiwei.

“Yeah, I only learned to cook dishes, never tried this,” Lu Yiwei said calmly.

“Alright then, let’s do it together,” Mu Zhengqing said, popping his head out from behind Lu Yiwei.

Although they said they would do it together, Mu Zhengqing only moved his mouth to direct Lu Yiwei, without moving his hands at all.

In the livestream, when Lu Yiwei’s fans heard him say he had never cooked noodles, more than half of them logged off. The remaining ones didn’t make any noise.

After about five minutes, Lu Yiwei’s fans started collectively sending bullet comments. It was unclear if they had coordinated, but the content was surprisingly consistent: “A man’s mouth is full of lies”(1).

“You’ve never cooked noodles before? Then who was it that cooked noodles for an unknown person’s birthday celebration on set? Do you have a twin brother or something?”

Of course, Lu Yiwei’s fans only dared to say these things in their hearts. This matter must not be known to Mu Zhengqing’s fans.

They would never admit defeat. Mu Zhengqing must love their idol more.

Since Mu Zhengqing had put too many noodles in, even after each of them had a bowl, there was still a lot left.

Mu Zhengqing, believing that food should not be wasted, planned to finish his bowl and then eat the rest from the pot, even though it might cause him to eat too much and have trouble sleeping at night.

However, before he finished his bowl, he saw Lu Yiwei taking his bowl to the kitchen.

When Lu Yiwei came back, he found Mu Zhengqing looking at him. He asked in confusion, “Are you still hungry?”

“Is there any left in the pot?” Mu Zhengqing asked, touching his stomach.

“It’s all gone. If you’re still hungry, I can share half with you,” Lu Yiwei said.

“No need, I’m full,” Mu Zhengqing replied, feeling a bit embarrassed.

He didn’t expect Lu Yiwei to have such a big appetite. Previously, when they ate together, their appetites were about the same.

After finishing his meal, Mu Zhengqing sat still, waiting for Lu Yiwei to put down his chopsticks before getting up to clear the table.

The reason he didn’t clean up before was that Lu Yiwei said a housekeeper would come to clean. But now that they were recording a show, the housekeeper couldn’t come, so they had to do the cleaning themselves.

Since Lu Yiwei cooked today, it was reasonable for Mu Zhengqing to handle the cleanup, even though he didn’t like the greasy feeling when washing dishes.

“There are strawberries in the fridge, go wash them,” Lu Yiwei said, taking the bowl from Mu Zhengqing’s hand.

“Alright, just leave it there and don’t touch it. I’ll clean up later,” Mu Zhengqing said, then went to wash the strawberries.

When he finished washing the strawberries, he found that Lu Yiwei had already cleaned up.

“Didn’t I say to leave it for me?” Mu Zhengqing said, looking at the neatly cleaned table and kitchen.

“Actually, I have OCD. Whenever I see something dirty, I want to clean it. It gives me a great sense of accomplishment,” Lu Yiwei explained, looking at Mu Zhengqing.

“Then why did you hire a housekeeper before?” Mu Zhengqing asked, puzzled.

“I was busy with work and didn’t have time. Now that I have time, I want to indulge myself. Maybe my OCD will get better someday,” Lu Yiwei said seriously, though he was clearly making it up.

“As long as you’re happy,” Mu Zhengqing replied.

Everyone has different preferences, so he didn’t comment.

However, he had heard that people with OCD can get very tired, and he was glad he didn’t have it.

In the livestream, Lu Yiwei’s fans fell silent again.

“When did you get OCD? How come I didn’t know? Could it be a new symptom?”

“It’s okay, it’s okay. As long as Lu Yiwei doesn’t mess up, we won’t lose to Mu Zhengqing’s fans.”

“Hang in there, we can win… right?” Lu Yiwei’s fans comforted themselves.

Chapter 10: Did you steal the question?

Seeing Lu Yiwei  typing seriously, Mu Zhengqing was afraid of disturbing his work and got up to return to the bedroom.

“What’s wrong?” Lu Yiwei asked as soon as Mu Zhengqing was about to get up.

If he hadn’t just seen Lu Yiwei typing, he would have suspected that Lu Yiwei had been secretly watching him all along.

“I’m going back to the bedroom,” Mu Zhengqing said as he stood up.

“Oh, then hurry back and don’t exceed the time,” Lu Yiwei reminded.

“What do you mean by ‘don’t exceed the time’?” Mu Zhengqing asked in confusion.

He suddenly had a bad feeling.

“The program team has a rule that except from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM and from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, you can’t stay in the bedroom for more than ten minutes. If you exceed the time, the program team will install cameras in your bedroom,” Lu Yiwei explained.

“Why didn’t I know about this rule?” Mu Zhengqing said in shock after hearing Lu Yiwei’s words.

Seeing Mu Zhengqing so shocked, Director Liang Qi said that he had only known about it a few minutes earlier.

“The program team just sent the notice,” Lu Yiwei  said calmly.

Mu Zhengqing took his phone and indeed saw the message from the program team.

Seeing the notice, Mu Zhengqing gritted his teeth and thought, if he had known about this rule earlier, even if he didn’t get a divorce, he wouldn’t…

Forget it, he would still ask for a divorce. After all, he could distinguish between temporary and lifelong constraints.

But he could brainwash Lu Yiwei and make him not participate in this program.

Oh right, it’s still possible now. At worst, he would pay the penalty fee.

Anyway, even if he didn’t pay the penalty fee, in the end, his money would still go to Lu Yiwei.

Thinking this way, it was a completely profitable deal.

Mu Zhengqing sat back on the sofa and started typing on his phone.

After he clicked send, Lu Yiwei quickly looked at him. He signalled Lu Yiwei to chat on WeChat.

He hadn’t forgotten that they were live streaming now. Not to mention the netizens, even Director Liang Qi wouldn’t agree if he knew he was trying to poach his talent.

Today, Liang Qi looked at them in such a way that it was impossible not to notice. Even a big bad wolf looking at Little Red Riding Hood wouldn’t be as exaggerated.

Mu Zhengqing (tentatively probing): “Do you feel particularly awkward?”

Lu Yiwei : “No.”

Mu Zhengqing (starting to guide): “Every move we make is seen clearly by the netizens. Doesn’t that make you uncomfortable?”

Lu Yiwei: “No, it doesn’t.”

Mu Zhengqing (trying a different angle): “My fans believe you like me. Don’t you have anything to explain?”

Lu Yiwei: “Nothing to explain.”

This isn’t working. Isn’t Lu Yiwei the one who hates being paired with others the most?

Mu Zhengqing thought no one noticed his interactions with Lu Yiwei, but in fact, the netizens in the live stream saw everything clearly.

However, the netizens were divided into two different camps regarding their interactions.

One camp, represented by Mu Zhengqing’s fans, said they were just chatting. Didn’t you see Lu Yiwei’s happy expression?

The other camp, represented by Lu Yiwei’s fans, said they were arguing. Didn’t you see Mu Zhengqing’s face turn dark with anger?

Passing netizens expressed their confusion, saying, “Shouldn’t you be focusing on your own idols? Why are you staring at the other side?”

Since talking didn’t work, Mu Zhengqing quickly came up with a new idea.

“I’ll watch some TV, I hope I’m not disturbing you,” Mu Zhengqing said while turning on the TV and asking Lu Yiwei .

Even if you say I’m disturbing you, I won’t turn it off. If you have the guts, go back to the bedroom. If you stay there for more than ten minutes, the program team will install cameras in your bedroom. Let’s see if you feel awkward then.

“You’re not disturbing me, let’s watch together,” Lu Yiwei said, putting down his computer.

Unexpectedly, Lu Yiwei had this reaction, so Mu Zhengqing had no choice but to watch TV reluctantly.

Cartoons, childish.

Commercials, boring.

Variety shows, awkward.

TV dramas, so fake.

Mu Zhengqing kept changing channels, and Lu Yiwei didn’t comment. Whatever Mu Zhengqing watched, Lu Yiwei watched too.

Suddenly, Mu Zhengqing knew what he wanted to watch.

Since you want to watch so much, don’t blame me.

After Mu Zhengqing found the TV drama starring Lu Yiwei , he didn’t change the channel.

He had already thought it through. If Lu Yiwei asked him to change the channel, he would say the remote was broken and they could only watch this.

Who knew that Lu Yiwei just glanced at him and didn’t say anything.

Mu Zhengqing originally thought that Lu Yiwei would feel awkward watching his own TV drama, but who knew that not only was he not awkward, he even explained the previous plot to him so he wouldn’t be confused while watching.

Mu Zhengqing slowly got immersed in the plot.

After one episode ended, he remembered his original purpose.

“Aren’t you embarrassed?” Mu Zhengqing asked curiously.

He had seen interviews on this topic, and almost everyone felt so embarrassed they wanted to dig a hole when watching their own TV dramas or movies.

“Embarrassed,” Lu Yiwei replied.

“Then why didn’t you ask me to change the channel?” Mu Zhengqing asked in confusion.

‘Although, even if you asked, I wouldn’t change it,’ he silently added in his heart.

“I saw you were really into it,” Lu Yiwei said, looking at him.

“It’s okay, I’m just curious about who the murderer is,” Mu Zhengqing said, pretending not to care.

In fact, he was quite engrossed, and now his mind was full of thoughts about who the murderer could be.

He planned to search online to find out who the murderer was, otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to sleep tonight.

Just as he picked up his phone, Lu Yiwei  waved at him.

“What’s up?” Mu Zhengqing asked in confusion.

“Don’t you want to know who the murderer is?” Lu Yiwei explained.

Seeing that Lu Yiwei was about to tell him who the murderer was, Mu Zhengqing immediately moved closer to him.

Seeing Mu Zhengqing’s action, Lu Yiwei was stunned for a moment, then leaned in and whispered a name in his ear.

“The murderer is actually him,” Mu Zhengqing said in shock after hearing the answer.

Of course, Lu Yiwei’s fans were even more shocked than Mu Zhengqing.

Who was it that said in interviews that he wouldn’t give spoilers, no matter how close the relationship was?

How come Mu Zhengqing just casually asked, and you told him?

After knowing who the murderer was, Mu Zhengqing became even more curious. How could that person be the murderer? What exactly happened in between?

Seeing Mu Zhengqing looking at him expectantly, Lu Yiwei  asked, “Do you want to know the process?”

Mu Zhengqing immediately said excitedly, “Can you tell me?”

#Of course not# Lu Yiwei’s fans answered for him, “Telling you the answer was already the limit, and you still want to know the process? Dream on.”

“Of course I can,” Lu Yiwei said without hesitation.

For the next while, Lu Yiwei began explaining to Mu Zhengqing why that person was the murderer.

Because he was afraid the netizens in the live stream would hear, the two of them were very close. Lu Yiwei could clearly see Mu Zhengqing’s eyelashes.

He could only try to keep his voice normal. Fortunately, Mu Zhengqing was so immersed in the plot that he didn’t notice anything unusual.

After explaining the murderer’s process, the program team sent a message reminding them not to forget today’s task.

Forgetting was impossible. Mu Zhengqing just didn’t know how to review it. [T/N: as a reminder, the first task is to review and reenact their first meeting]

While he was struggling with how to complete the task, Lu Yiwei said that if he trusted him, he could leave the task to him.

Of course, he had no problem with that. How could he refuse such an easy task?

“Are you sure this is our first meeting?” Seeing what Lu Yiwei  sent him, Mu Zhengqing sent a message asking.

“Just a little artistic liberty,” Lu Yiwei replied.

Is this “a little”? This is practically a complete makeover!

It seems the saying “art imitates life” doesn’t apply to Lu Yiwei. Even without life experiences, he can create art out of thin air.

“Is this really okay?” Mu Zhengqing asked, still a bit uneasy.

Although the witness to their first meeting is now in prison, he still felt a bit guilty.

Lu Yiwei confidently assured him that it was fine, so Mu Zhengqing didn’t say anything more.

Alright then, as long as the task gets done.

After confirming the plot, it was time to set up the scene.

Mu Zhengqing thought it was good enough, but Lu Yiwei insisted that while the plot could be artistically modified, the scene couldn’t be sloppy.

Alright, it seems that even enjoying the fruits of someone else’s labour isn’t that easy.

Who knew that when they asked the program team for props, the program team started being difficult.

To obtain the props, they first need to complete a task. The task set by the show is neither too difficult nor too easy. It mainly tests how well they know each other.

Mu Zhengqing needs to name TV shows or movies that Lu Yiwei has acted in. Lu Yiwei needs to name songs that Mu Zhengqing has sung or dances he has performed. Each correct answer earns one point, and they need to accumulate more than 30 points to pass. On average, each person needs to answer 15 questions correctly to complete the task.

If they complete the task, the show will provide them with props. If they fail, they will be punished. The punishment is a cup of bitter melon juice for each of them.

Upon hearing about the bitter melon juice, Mu Zhengqing frowned deeply, as bitterness is the only taste he fears.

“Who will go first?” asked the show’s staff.

Just as Mu Zhengqing was about to speak, Lu Yiwei quickly said, “I’ll go first.”

Mu Zhengqing originally thought that if Lu Yiwei could name ten, it would be quite good, and fifteen would be an extraordinary performance.

Although he has sung many songs, only about ten of them are widely known. As for dancing, there are some he doesn’t even remember himself, let alone Lu Yiwei .

So, to complete this task, it requires the joint effort of both of them.

He started recalling the TV dramas and movies that Lu Yiwei has acted in.

But what he didn’t expect was that Lu Yiwei completed the task all by himself, without needing him to step in.

Regarding this result, not only Mu Zhengqing was surprised, but it can be said that it was beyond everyone’s expectations.

Even Mu Zhengqing’s fans wouldn’t dare to say they could name thirty songs he has sung or dances he has performed in one go.

Mu Zhengqing’s fan: “If this isn’t love, then tell me what is love.”

Lu Yiwei’s fan: “It shows that your idol is really popular, right?”

Mu Zhengqing’s fan: “If you put it that way, it’s not wrong.”

“Did you steal the question?”** Mu Zhengqing asked Lu Yiwei.

There are some songs he doesn’t even remember singing, and some dances he doesn’t remember performing, yet Lu Yiwei knows them.

Especially when the program team questioned his answers, he could accurately state when and where he sang the songs and performed the dances.

Mu Zhengqing voiced the thoughts of many netizens, and the viewers in the live broadcast were also waiting for Lu Yiwei’s answer.

“Can’t you name thirty TV dramas or movies I’ve acted in?” Lu Yiwei didn’t answer his question but asked back.

“I can’t,” Mu Zhengqing answered honestly.

He had just thought about it and could only name fifteen at most.

“Not being able to name them is normal because I haven’t acted in thirty TV dramas or movies.”

In the end, Lu Yiwei didn’t answer whether he had stolen the question or not.

Chapter 9: Do you regret meeting each other

Early the next morning, the program director Liang Qi arrived at Lu Yiwei’s house with a group of people.

At this moment, Mu Zhengqing and Lu Yiwei were having an argument.

To say they were arguing might not be entirely accurate, as it was Mu Zhengqing who was angry. Lu Yiwei was stubbornly holding onto Mu Zhengqing’s arm and wouldn’t let go.

The two were enacting a scene of “I want to leave” and “I won’t let you leave.”

Hearing the sound at the door, both were startled.

Lu Yiwei’s surprise was one of joy; the program crew had finally arrived.

Mu Zhengqing’s surprise was one of shock; the program crew had actually arrived.

“Can you let go now?” Mu Zhengqing said with a dark expression.

He just found out that netizens didn’t believe the official announcement from the program team, so he still had a chance to back out.

As for whether the program would be cancelled, it wasn’t a big deal for Lu Yiwei. He believed many people would be willing to act as his divorce partner.

Who knew that when he finished packing his things and came out of the bedroom, he would be caught red-handed by Lu Yiwei.

Who would have thought that Lu Yiwei would be waiting in the living room, with the purpose of preventing him from escaping.

He didn’t know what kind of bewitching potion the program team of “Stop Moving Forward” had given him, making him insist on dragging him to participate in the program.

“Oh.” Lu Yiwei reluctantly let go.

However, he only let go of Mu Zhengqing’s arm, while his other hand holding the suitcase still did not let go.

Seeing that Lu Yiwei was still looking at him with a guarded expression, Mu Zhengqing was so angry that his face turned dark.

“What, are you planning to take the suitcase to open the door?” Mu Zhengqing said angrily.

Who knew that when Lu Yiwei heard this, he actually asked expectantly, “Can I?”

In the end, Lu Yiwei, as he wished, took the suitcase to open the door for the program team.

“What is this?”

Director Liang Qi saw the suitcase in Lu Yiwei’s hand and, under everyone’s gaze, used his body, which was enough to block the door, to block the only way out for Lu Yiwei.

Seeing Liang Qi’s actions, Lu Yiwei was completely relieved.

Now that everyone was here, Mu Zhengqing knew that he had no choice but to participate in this variety show.

From the moment they entered, Liang Qi’s gaze had been fixed on Mu Zhengqing and Lu Yiwei.

He was someone who had seen a lot, but the relationship between Mu Zhengqing and Lu Yiwei still shocked him.

Although he had mentally prepared himself, he couldn’t help but look at them when he saw them sitting together.

First glance, pleasing to the eye.

Second glance, no wonder they are the top stars in the entertainment industry.

Third glance, they didn’t look as mismatched as netizens said.

Fourth glance, no wonder they divorced, they didn’t seem to get along.

“Can we start?” Lu Yiwei asked, noticing Mu Zhengqing’s expression becoming more stiff.

“Yes, yes, everyone get ready, 3…2…” Liang Qi said with a smile.

Ever since he found out that Mu Zhengqing and Lu Yiwei were going to participate in the variety show, the smile on his face never disappeared.

Logically, as the director, he should be in the control room overseeing everything, but who could blame him when it was Mu Zhengqing and Lu Yiwei?

Before this, he never dared to dream that the two would participate in his show together. Who knew that a pie would really fall from the sky and hit him on the head?

Not to mention just changing the program’s name, he would even change his own name if needed.

Just thinking about netizens seeing Mu Zhengqing and Lu Yiwei really appearing in the live broadcast, he couldn’t contain his excitement.

He was about to experience the highlight of his life.

However, his highlight moment was interrupted before it even started.

Because Mu Zhengqing and Lu Yiwei were sitting too far apart, the camera could only capture one of them.

“Um, could you two sit a bit closer?” Liang Qi said to them.

Lu Yiwei moved closer to Mu Zhengqing, but Mu Zhengqing remained seated without moving.

Seeing that Mu Zhengqing had no intention of moving, Lu Yiwei was about to move even closer, but Mu Zhengqing gave him a glare.

Seeing both of them looking at him, Liang Qi () didn’t dare to continue asking.

“Let’s leave it at that,” he thought. After all, this is a divorce variety show, not a love variety show. At worst, the camera can shoot at an angle.

“May I ask why you two got divorced?”

Lu Yiwei: “We haven’t…”

Mu Zhengqing: “We were often apart.”

Mu Zhengqing interrupted Lu Yiwei, knowing what he was about to say. But it wasn’t necessary. After all, they would divorce after the variety show ended.

Saying they hadn’t divorced yet would only cause more trouble.

“If you two resolved the issue of being apart often, would you consider remarrying?”

Mu Zhengqing: “No consideration.”

Lu Yiwei: “Would consider.”

“How did you feel when you saw each other again after the divorce?”

Mu Zhengqing: “No feeling.”

Lu Yiwei: “The same as the first time we met.”

Mu Zhengqing looked at Lu Yiwei. ‘Just like the first time they met…’ Their first meeting was not a good memory.

At that time, he was attending a drinking party, and the investor was trying to grope him while continuously forcing him to drink. He excused himself and hid in the bathroom.

Who knew that as soon as he got to the bathroom, the investor followed him and tried to drag him into a stall.

He had just knocked the investor down, and when he looked up, he saw Lu Yiwei standing at the bathroom door. Then he vomited all over Lu Yiwei.

“Do you two remember how you felt when you first saw each other?”

Mu Zhengqing: “Red eyes.”

Lu Yiwei: “Red face.”

Mu Zhengqing looked at Lu Yiwei again.

His eyes were red because he gets red eyes but not a red face when he drinks. Was Lu Yiwei’s face red at that time? Could it be because he was angry from being vomited on?

“One last question, do you regret meeting each other?”

Mu Zhengqing: “No regrets.”

Lu Yiwei: “No regrets.”

After answering this question, the two of them exchanged a glance. Although Mu Zhengqing now wants a divorce, he has never regretted marrying Lu Yiwei.

He is grateful to Lu Yiwei for marrying him at that time, which is also why he quickly forgives Lu Yiwei even after being angered multiple times.

After the interview ended, Mu Zhengqing breathed a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, the questions asked by the program team were very simple; otherwise, he would have had to think carefully about how to answer them.

After all, he and Lu Yiwei have only met a few times, and he might have given himself away.

He originally thought that after the interview, today’s tasks would be over, and he just needed to appear in front of the camera.

Who knew that before the program team left, they assigned them a task.

Moreover, it’s not just today; they have tasks to complete every day.

Today’s task is to revisit their first meeting at home.

Revisit, how to revisit? Is it to revisit him hitting someone, or to revisit him vomiting all over Lu Yiwei?

“You go pack your things first, I’ll cook.”

Lu Yiwei said as he brought the suitcase in front of Mu Zhengqing.

After being busy all morning, Mu Zhengqing was also hungry.

He didn’t refuse Lu Yiwei’s arrangement, but just for this meal, after that, he would cook for himself.

Living under the same roof, he felt embarrassed to always let Lu Yiwei cook.

However, he also knew his own cooking skills were just barely edible, far from Lu Yiwei’s level.

Lu Yiwei probably doesn’t want to eat the food he cooks either, so from now on, they should each eat their own meals.

This also aligns more with the mode of interaction for a divorced couple.

While eating, Mu Zhengqing shared his thoughts with Lu Yiwei.

“You don’t like my cooking?” Lu Yiwei asked, puzzled.

Mu Zhengqing really couldn’t say he didn’t like it, so he could only say firmly, “I’m informing you, not discussing with you.”

After saying that, he got goosebumps himself; this kind of domineering CEO talk really didn’t suit him.

“Got it,” Lu Yiwei said reluctantly.

After eating, Mu Zhengqing sat on the sofa playing with his phone, while Lu Yiwei sat beside him with a laptop.

This time, Mu Zhengqing didn’t hesitate and directly started browsing Weibo.

Uh… so they are discussing whether he likes Lu Yiwei more, or Lu Yiwei likes him more.

Yesterday they were saying they were the least likely couple, and today they are arguing about this. Is this really okay?

After watching for a while, Mu Zhengqing couldn’t stand it anymore.

What? He was looking at Lu Yiwei out of curiosity, how did it become a loving gaze?

And Lu Yiwei’s response was clearly very normal, how did it become a declaration of love in their mouths?

Of course, besides these, there were also a lot of curses online.

But they weren’t cursing him and Lu Yiwei, they were cursing the paparazzi.

They couldn’t even capture gossip, and when the evidence was put in front of them, they didn’t recognize it. What’s the use of them?

What Mu Zhengqing didn’t know was that Lu Yiwei, sitting not far from him, was also looking at Weibo.

“You guys are really useless, exposing still has to rely on myself,” Lu Yiwei commented with a small account.
